Greenland Returns to SummerWorks

Greenland, the sleeper hit of the 2009 SummerWorks Festival, returns for 3 staged readings at this year’s fest.

The readings are a fundraiser for both the festival and Environmental Defence.

The first evening (Aug 10) is a special fundraiser event and tickets are $75. Information can be found here.

The readings on Aug 11 and Aug 15 are priced at the regular festival rates and information is available here.


CODE at the Barbican

Nic’s new play, CODE, will have a short presentation following a week-long workshop at the Barbican Theatre in London.

The Elephant Song opens in Seoul

The Elephant Song opens for its third run at the Nine Story Theatre in Seoul, South Korea.

Nic will be in attendance for the opening and take part in a post-show Q&A.

Butcher opens in Tokyo

Butcher opens tonight at the Geki Shogekijo theatre in Tokyo, Japan, in a translation by Toyoshi Yoshihara.


World Premiere of Treasure Island

The world premiere of Nic’s adaptation of Treasure Island, based on the beloved novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, had its world premiere today at the Stratford Festival.





Agamemnon opens at the Next Stage Theatre Festival

Nic’s most recent work, an adaptation of Aeschylus’ Agamemnon, opened today as part of the 2016 Next Stage Theatre Festival in Toronto.

The play runs until January 17th.

The play is directed by Sarah Kitz and stars Nigel Shawn Williams, Brigit Wilson, Earl Pastko, Susanna Fournier, Ron Kennell, Amy Keating, Zita Nyarady, Marcel Stewart, and Samantha Brown.
