The 2011 Rhubarb Festival in Toronto plays host to a wide variety of performances, including Godwin's Law, a piece written by Nicolas that is part of a larger work-in-progress. Directed by oft-collaborators Ravi Jain and Claire Calnan, the 25-minute show plays from February 16th to 19th, 8:30pm @ Buddies in Bad Times theatre (map).

Nicolas's 2009 SummerWorks hit, Greenland, returns for a two-night reading in Toronto on January 27 & 28. Featuring the original cast and director, the reading is a PWYC fundraiser for the Actors' Fund of Canada. Details are available at www.thegreenlandplay.com.

An excerpt of Nicolas's newest play, Godwin's Law, will be read at tonight's Buzz work-in-development festival at Theatre Passe-Muraille. Claire Calnan plays the role of Anna Godwin under the direction Ravi Jain.

A workshop of Up and Down the Ladder, a musical based on the life of Eva Tanguay, will take place today. The book is by Nicolas, with David Warrack as composer/lyricist and Jim Warren directing.

The Exit, a short film written by Nicolas, has its world premiere tonight at the 2010 Atlantic Film Festival. Helmed by E. Jane Thompson, the cast includes Caroline Cave, Gord Rand, Lyndie Greenwood, and Colin Williams.
